Saint Matthias the Apostle Church (2012)

I want to thank you for the TechnaGro that Kurtz Bros., Inc. donated to the Matthias Parish garden. I know it took a while to pick up and even longer to get this thank you to you. But the garden club is truly thankful. We had a family goods garden for the first year and look forward to an even better garden now that it has TechnaGro in it. Thank you very much.

Pastoral minister

PS. We picked it up at the N. Royalton site.

Lomond Elementary School (2011)

Thanks so much to Kurtz Bros., Inc. for the generous donation of soil to the Lomond Elementary School Learning Garden. With the Worm Dirt, we were able to replenish the depleted soil levels in our raised beds. We hope this addition will help improve the productivity of the Learning Garden for many seasons to come. Thanks again for being our partner in providing students a rewarding educational experience in the Learning Garden.

Sincerely,
Hallie DeChant
Chair, Lomond Learning Garden
Susan M. Alig
Principal, Lomond Elementary School

Redeemer Crisis Center (2011)

Thank you for tour contribution of work, materials, equipment, or time at Redeemer Crisis Center in conjunction with the Ohio Contractors Association this Past August. In a neighborhood, where so many people struggle to feed their families and make ends meet, a concrete basketball court, a concrete picnic pavilion, and repaired sidewalks say that someone cares. Your gifts lift up the surroundings because they are improvement in an area that so often sees only decay and neglect. On behalf of the many people who are affected by your contributions, thank you. There are not words enough to tell you what a difference you have made.

Most sincerely,
Diane Zellmer
Director

Cleveland Engineering Society (2011)

Kurtz Bros., Inc.
As a Seminar Sponsor, your contribution in the amount of $350 was very much appreciated and helped us raise significant funds for scholarships and our educational outreach efforts.  On behalf of the Cleveland Engineering Society board, staff and golf outing planning committee, please accept my heartfelt thanks for your gift donation. Your contribution of a travel mug and $50 Gift Certificate was very much appreciated and helped us raise significant funds for scholarships and our educational outreach efforts.   Our 2011 Golf Outing was a huge success, in part due to your help. The money raised will assist us in continuing our mission of encouraging Cleveland area students to explore engineering and technology as a profession, promote our local colleges and universities, and share with students the numerous career opportunities within the Cleveland community.

Thank you again for your generosity!
Sincerely,
Lori Marlow
Program Manager

Thank you very much for the supplies used for the Interfaith Hospitality Network (IHN) new courtyard garden. IHN serves homeless families at their Tremont location and our garden club was pleased to renovate the space for them this summer.

Growing Stewards Of The Earth (2010)

Sunview Elementary third graders planted a rain garden in Lyndhurst’s Brainard Park. This rain garden is the result of a partnership with the South Euclid-Lyndhurst School District, the City of Lyndhurst, Cuyahoga Soil & Water Conservation District, Euclid Creek Watershed Council and the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District. Staff from the City’s Service Department prepared the site with Kurtz Bros., Inc. bio-retention soil mix and mulch, and students from Mrs. Tierney’s class then planted 70 native plants species that will attract birds and butterflies.

Curtis W Franks Eagle Scout Project (2010)

I would like to express my appreciation to Bill from the Willowick branch for the valuable insight in how to use which materials and to secure them from mobbing and for working with me. I will never be able to forget your act of charity, as that project was the capstone of dedication to the Boy Scouts as a youth and the cornerstone for my contributions to society for the rest of my life. I really do appreciate all that you have done. I will not have done it without your help.
