Cleveland Botanical Gardens
Thank you Kurtz Bros., Inc. very much for the generous donation of 50 cubic yards of EcoMulch and its delivery to Green Corps’ Buckeye Farm. Cleveland Botanical Garden’s efforts to
revitalize urban neighborhoods through urban agriculture and new green spaces are bringing new hope to our city’s residents. You’re support of the Fruitful Neighborhoods’ Buckeye
Orchard will improve the urban environment, beautify the area, hold the promise of fresh fruit for buckeye residents, and build pride in the neighborhood.
The weather was absolutely perfect today for planting apple, pear, peach and cherry trees. UPS employee volunteers, a science class from Cleveland’s John Hay High school, Green
Corps staff and students, and Buckeye neighbors made short work of planting the orchard. Volunteers were able to spread about half the EcoMulch into the orchard within the allotted
time period; the remainder will be moved and raked into place by out Green Corps students in the coming weeks.
Kurtz Bros., Inc. helped to make this event a success. We look forward to harvesting a variety of fruis in coming years and sharing them with Buckeye neighbors.
Most sincerely,
Natalie Ronayne

Redeemer Crisis Center
Thank you for tour contribution of work, materials, equipment, or time at Redeemer Crisis Center in conjunction with the Ohio Contractors Association this Past August. In a neighborhood, where so many people struggle to feed their families and make ends meet, a concrete basketball court, a concrete picnic pavilion, and repaired sidewalks say that someone cares. Your gifts lift up the surroundings because they are improvement in an area that so often sees only decay and neglect. On behalf of the many people who are affected by your contributions, thank you. There are not words enough to tell you what a difference you have made.
Most sincerely,

Growing Stewards Of The Earth
Sunview Elementary third graders planted a rain garden in Lyndhurst’s Brainard Park. This rain garden is the result of a partnership with the South Euclid-Lyndhurst School District, the City of Lyndhurst, Cuyahoga Soil & Water Conservation District, Euclid Creek Watershed Council and the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District. Staff from the City’s Service Department prepared the site with Kurtz Bros., Inc. bio-retention soil mix and mulch, and students from Mrs. Tierney’s class then planted 70 native plants species that will attract birds and butterflies.

Curtis W Franks Eagle Scout Project
I would like to express my appreciation to Bill from the Willowick branch for the valuable insight in how to use which materials and to secure them from mobbing and for working with me. I will never be able to forget your act of charity, as that project was the capstone of dedication to the Boy Scouts as a youth and the cornerstone for my contributions to society for the rest of my life. I really do appreciate all that you have done. I will not have done it without your help.
