As space in burgeoning disposal facilities steadily declines, Kurtz Bros., Inc. works to reclaim and reuse materials. Debris such as pallets, scrap lumber, tree limbs and other forms of untreated wood waste are recovered and reclaimed.
This clean scrap wood is used in our composting applications or in colored mulch products such as Amerimulch™.
Construction and Demolition (C&D) waste accounts for a large part of the waste stream in the United States. While most of this waste accumulates in landfills, experts estimate that 90% of the waste stream is potentially reusable or recyclable. Recycling can help prolong our supply of natural resources and save money in the process. Common C&D wastes that are recycled include carpet, wood, aggregate, metal, wallboard and plastic. Other types of C&D recyclable materials are asphalt, brick, concrete, drywall, fixtures, flooring, gravel, green waste, pallets, paper, pipe, roofing, sand, shingles and soil.
Kurtz is happy to take your mixed material. No separation is necessary!
- Mixed material collection - Recyclable materials are transported from the job site, sorted at Kurtz Bros. facility, then re-used and/or outsourced for further processing.
